KC Medical Kiosk: Bringing health care close

If you need to see a doctor but have only a few minutes to spare, you’re in luck. The KC Health Care Trust Employee Medical Kiosk at City Hall has you covered. The Kiosk is a great option for on-the-go medical advice, whether you are feeling under the weather or need to keep an eye on an ongoing medical condition such as blood pressure or diabetes.

Located on the 8th floor of City Hall, the Medical Kiosk is not only fast, it’s also free for City employees, retirees and their adult dependents who are covered under one of the Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Kansas City (Blue KC) health insurance plans. There is no copay and no deductible.

The average appointment time is only 30 minutes, which means you’ll be in, out and can get on with your day. Best of all, the Kiosk has a high approval rating. Employees who have used the Kiosk reported having their medical issue resolved 98 percent of the time.

The Kiosk can handle a variety of medical concerns. The most common conditions seen at the Kiosk include:
