Health and Wellness Fair - October 23
Fountain of Health is offering a Health and Wellness Fair, 11 a.m. to 1 p.m., Wednesday, October 23 at the KCMO Health Department, 2400 Troost.  Enjoy free mini yoga classes, bone density scans, vision screenings, derma scans, Kardiscans, bystander CPR and more. All City employees are invited to attend. Time slots for scans are limited, please contact Jeanine.Scrogum@kcmo.org for an appointment. 

Blue KC Adds Important Diabetes Benefit
Blue KC is adding to its comprehensive collection of benefits aimed at helping KCMO employees prevent and manage diabetes. Livongo for Diabetes is designed to make living with diabetes easier by combining advanced technology with personalized support and education. The program is offered at no cost to Blue KC members and covered dependents (ages 13 and above) through your KCMO employer-sponsored health plan. This month, Livongo Health will begin contacting and enrolling eligible members.


 
Protect Yourself This Flu Season
During October, free flu shots are being offered at a worksite near you for employees and retirees who are part of one of the City's Blue KC medical plans. If you can’t make one of these events, please make an appointment at the Health Care Trust Clinic or Kiosk. You must bring your insurance card and driver’s license. Clinic and Kiosk services are free for employees, spouses, dependents and retirees on the City’s Blue KC medical plans. Please contact Jill.Monroe@kcmo.org with questions.
The Medical Kiosk - New Video
Here's a convenient way to take care of a wide range of minor, non-urgent illnesses and injuries, with no-copay and no deductible: The Medical Kiosk at City Hall is available to employees, retirees, and family members 18-months and older enrolled in the City's Blue KC insurance plans. (You must bring your Blue KC member ID card with every visit.) Watch this brief video to learn more.

7:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m.
and 2:30 p.m. to 4:00 p.m.

Saturday:
9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.

Monday-Friday:

8:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. and
2:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m.
